Outrageous Earrings are for lovers of earring art, those bold and artsy women who dress with style and fun. You know who you are. You're a star. You like it when people notice your earrings. You like all the compliments. You love the tinkly sound your earrings make when you move. You enjoy earrings that match your mood for the day. And you're the ones who are going to love these unique and funky novelty earrings! They're all handmade and no two pairs are ever the same. And I'm always happy to do a custom order---just email me: ntoothman@excite.com.

I use natural materials like bone, glass, crystals and feathers; I use sterling silver, painted silver and gold metals; and I use found materials. In short, I use just about anything that I see that interests me and looks like it might work for earrings. Nice shiny beer and soda bottle caps work especially great. Weight is a very imporant important criteria as all my earrings are large and showy.

Unique fun styles of this wearable art include: celtic knot, drop, soft drink and beer bottle cap, Egyptian, ankh, Isis, fairy, bee goddess, Christmas, Samhain and other holiday earrings.

These handcrafted earrings are unique wearable works of art---no two are the same
but they are all outrageous. I start with something interestly like a cool pair of bottle caps
and then to make the jewelry, I add any of the following natural or synthetic materials:
bone, feathers, found objects of any kind, sterling silver or pewter charms, painted base metals,
brass, glass or crystal or plastic beads, charms of any kind, seeds, nuts, buttons, shell.
Sometimes I add paint, sometimes I glue stuff on. Sometimes it's shiny, sometimes it's matte.
These often whimsical earrings may be outrageous and they may be funky,
but they're definitely fun to wear and they're every bit as much fun to make.!
